1-Cuando empezaste a pintar?
Empecé a pintar en 2008, pero me tomé un descanso durante un par de años.
1-When did you start painting?
I started painting in 2008, but i took a break for a couple years.
2-De donde viene el nombre de Sarz?
Teníamos un escritor en la ciudad con el apodo «far», y me inspiró mucho, así que adopté el nombre sar. Luego descubrí que ya existía una tripulación «sar» en Rusia, y decidí añadirle una letra al final para que los nombres fueran diferentes. Era muy joven.
2-Where the name Sarz comes from?
We had a writer in town with the nickname “far”, and I was very inspired by him, so I took the name sar. Then I found out that a crew “sar”already existed in Russia, and I decided that I would just add one letter to the end so that the names would differ. I was really young.
3-Que pintura sueles usar cuando pintas?
Normalmente, pintura rusa «arton». También me encanta pintar con latas Montana y con Flame.
3-What paint do you usually use when you paint?
Usually, russian paint “arton”. Also, i love to paint with montana cans, and flame.
4-Colores favoritos para tus piezas?
Me encanta usar colores pastel, con elementos brillantes.
4-Favorite colors for your pieces?
I love to use pastel colors, with bright elements.
5-Cuanto piensas en Graffiti?
No todos los días, pero sí muy a menudo. No es solo mi afición, también trabajo como grafitero.
5-How much do you think about Graffiti?
Not everyday, but really often. Its not only hobby, i also work as a graffiti artist.
6-Superficies favoritas para pintar?
Paredes de hormigón liso en zonas frías.
6-Favorite surfaces to paint?
Smooth concrete walls in chill spots.
7-Ciudades dónde has pintado?
Muchas ciudades de Rusia: Lárnaca (Chipre) y Estambul (Turquía).
7-Cities where you have painted?
A lot of cities in Russia. Larnaca( Cyprus). Istanbul( Turkey).
8-Cómo ves el Graffiti en España?
Nunca he pintado en España. Pero he estado en Barcelona un par de veces y me pareció un lugar genial para hacer grafitis.
8-How do you see Graffiti in Spain?
I’ve never painted in Spain. But I’ve been to Barcelona a couple of times, and I thought it was a great place for graffiti.
9-Has tenido algún escritor de referencia?
Me he inspirado en muchos artistas. Entre ellos se encuentran Sofles, Does, Askew, Rime y muchos otros.
9-Have you had any reference writer?
There are a lot of artists I’ve been inspired by. These are Sofles, Does, Askew, Rime and many others.
10-Que sientes cuando pintas?
Placer, por muy fuerte que lo digan. Disfruto mucho el proceso.
10-What do you feel when you paint?
Pleasure, no matter how loudly it is said. I really enjoy the process.
11-Que te da el Graffiti?
Muchos conocidos y amigos geniales. El grafiti me dio trabajo. El grafiti me quitó el aburrimiento de la vida.
11-What does Graffiti give you?
Lots of cool acquaintances and friends. Graffiti gave me a job. Graffiti took boredom out of my life.
12-Cuando ves una pared blanca, que piensas?
Depende de dónde. Si está en una zona limpia de la ciudad, prefiero dejarlo blanco. Si está en un lugar adecuado para pintar, inmediatamente pienso en darle más brillo.
12-When you see a white wall, what do you think?
Depends on where. If it’s in a clean area of the city, I’d rather leave it white. If it’s in a suitable place for painting, then I immediately think I’ll make it brighter.
