1-Porque el nombre de Nina?

Why the name of ‘Nina’?

Cuando empezé a pintar no me gustaba mi nombre y el graffiti me daba la oportunidad de cambiarlo por Nina. Es un nombre que siempre me ha gustado y después también porque había un dibujo animado que veía de pequeña, que el nombre del protagonista era Nina.

When I started painting my name I did not like and graffiiti allowed me to change it with Nina. It ‘a name I always liked and then there’ was a cartoon I watched as a child where the name of the protagonist was Nina.

2-Cuando empezaste pintar?

When did you start to paint?

Empecé a pintar en el 2000, pero yo antes ya seguía este mundo, solía ir al ‘’’jam’’’ y leer algunos fanzines, estaba fascinada por esta cultura porque los 90 fueron un periodo fuerte y avasallador, he seguido esta cultura con una gran pasión. Sentí que me pertenecía.

I started painting in 2000 but even before I followed this world. I often went to the jam and read many fanzines, I was fascinated by this culture because the 90’s were a period of strong and overwhelming this culture and I have followed with great passion. I felt that I belonged.

3-Cuantas mujeres hay por italia que se dediquen al graffiti cómo tú, tan activamente?

How many women there are in Italy who works as a graffiti artist such active like you?

Hay algunas chicas que pintan graffiti en Italia pero de las pocas que hay, hacen mucho más Street Art. Pienso que es mucho más difícil escribir letras que hacer arte figurativo.

There are some girls who paint graffiti in Italy but very few tend to do a lot more to street art. I think it’s much more difficult to write letters that figurative.

4-Has pintado mucho fuera de italia?

Did you paint a lot outside of Italy?

Nunca he pintado fuera de Italia, pero este año comenzaré.

I never painted out the ‘Italy, but this year will begin.

5-Sigues el Graffiti de fuera?

Do you follow the outside graffiti?

Sigo más el graffiti de fuera, me he dado cuenta de que hay más lugares y eventos respecto a Italia, también por las diferentes instituciones. A menudo nos encontramos con chicos de fuera con los que siempre podemos planificar un bonito Hall of Fame.

I will follow much the Graffiti abroad. I realize that there are many more situations and events than the Italian also because of the different institutions. Often come to find us guys from outside with which we can always arrange beautiful hall of fame.

6-Que es lo que más te gusta del Graffiti?

What is the most you like about graffiti?

Me ha distanciado de malas compañías ofreciéndome la oportunidad de conocer y compartir lo que me gusta con otra gente que siente el mismo sentimiento. El graffiti surgió de diferentes bonitas amistades y colaboraciones. El graffiti es también la belleza de ver las formas de expresión que viven en una ciudad.

They have kept me away from bad company giving me the opportunity to know and share what I love with other people who feel the same sentiment. Graffiti were born by many beautiful friendships and collaborations. Graffiti is also the beauty of seeing the forms of expression that lives the city.

7-Haces muchos bocetos, a que es debido?

You do a lot of sketch’s, what is the reason?

Es dibujar mucho, me gusta estudiar la caligrafía siempre buscando nuevas habilidades y especialmente algo que sea original. Me gusta ponerme a prueba continuamente.

Is drawing a lot, I like to study the lettering always seek new skillz and especially something that is original. I like to put to the test continuously.

8-Con quien sueles ir a pintar?

With who do you usually go to paint?

Siempre pinto con Orgh, con amigos que vienen a visitarnos de fuera y algunos que viven en mi ciudad con los que hemos sido amigos por un tiempo. Intentamos siempre pintar la paredes cuidadosamente y comprometernos así a cambiar la idea que tiene la gente sobre graffiti o el vandalismo. Somos unos pocos en mi ciudad que tenemos esa mentalidad desafortunadamente.

I always paint with Orgh, and friends who come to visit us from outside and some who live in my city which have been friends for a while. We try to always paint the walled cured and committed thus trying to change even the idea that people have an expression of graffiti or vandalism. We are few in my city to have this mentality unfortunately.

9-Hace poco se hizo una edición de graffiti del día de la mujer, cómo surgió esa idea?

Recently there was a graffiti edition of the women’s day. How this idea appears?

Mr. Wany es el fundador de ‘’Amazing Day’’, este evento internacional es la octava edición urbana, en Milán des de las raíces del Hip Hop, que reúne bajo un mismo techo durante dos días diferentes actividades como pintar muros, concursos de break dance, sketch, workshops, scratch, conciertos y exhibiciones. El ‘’Amazing Day-Woman Edition’’ es un evento del mundo de la mujer, un proyecto que envuelve la participación de un numero selectivo de los mejores artistas de calle y de las escritoras de graffiti .

Mr. Wany is the founder of » Amazing Day «event is an international urban eighth edition, in Milan, from the roots Hip Hop which gathers under one roof for two days different activities such as wall painting, break dance contest, sketch, workshops, scratch, concerts and exhibitions. «Amazing Day- Woman Edition» is the female world event, a project that involves the participation of a selected number of the best street artists and graffiti writer women.

Afortunadamente tengo varios amigos fuera con quienes mantengo contacto.

When are you going to come to Barcelona?

En Abril iré a Barcelona.

I will come in April in Barcelona.

13-Perteneces a algún grupo? quienes lo componen?

Do you belong to with some group? Who are the members?

Nunca he querido pertenecer en ningún grupo, siempre me ha parecido demasiado exigente, debido a mi estilo de vida. Pero ahora he cambiado un poco la idea sobre esto, y esta desarrollándose un Nuevo grupo que de aquí poco será introducido.

I never wanted to belong to a group l always find it too challenging for my lifestyle. But now I’ve changed a little idea about it and is developing a new group that will soon introduce.
