1-Cuándo empezaste a pintar y por qué?
Empecé en el año 2000, comencé a pintar porque primero me enamoré de la escritura urbana, el graffiti, los throw ups que ya existían en mi ciudad, pero en un momento en una revista de skate vi las primeras piezas y Wild Style. Me encantó a primera vista, así que comencé a hacer algunas piezas en las calles.
1-When did you start painting and why?
I started in 2000, I started painting because I first fell in love with urban writing. Graffiti, Throwups. that already existed in my city, but at one point, in a skate magazine I saw the first letters of piece and wild style. I loved it at first sight, so I started making some pieces on the streets.
2-Con quién ibas a pintar?
Aquí donde vivo Macaé- Rio de Janeiro- Brasil había una cultura de escritores saliendo en parejas, y salí con un amigo que firmó CAS, era muy bueno por cierto pero se alejó del graffiti. Poco después, los escritores que persistieron se unieron y formaron una Crew.
2-Who were you going to paint with?
Here where I live Macaé- Rio de Janeiro- Brazil there was a culture of writers dating in couples, and I went out with a friend who signed CAS, he was very good by the way but he moved away from graffiti. Soon after, the writers who persisted joined together and formed a team.
3-Tuviste alguna influencia en Graffiti?
Como dije antes, me enamoré de las letras de una revista y hubo 3 obras de escritores que son mis referentes. DOES de Brasil, Binho de Brasil y Satão también de Brasil. Después la vida me mostró otros referentes, pero fueron fundamentales para mi entrada en el graffiti.
3-Did you have any influence on Graffiti?
As I said before, I fell in love with the letters of a magazine and there were 3 works by writers who are my references. DOES from Brazil, Binho from Brazil and Satão also from Brazil. Later life showed me other references, but they were fundamental for my entry into graffiti.
4-Qué sensaciones tienes en el momento antes de ir a pintar?
Lo mismo que la primera vez, con muchas ganas, muchas ganas de pintar y siempre hacer una letra mejor que la otra. Soy mi mayor enemigo y tengo que derrotarme todos los días.
4-What feelings do you have at the moment before going to paint?
Same as the first time, with a lot of desire, a lot of desire to paint and always make one letter better than the other. I am my biggest enemy and I have to defeat myself every day.
5-Cuándo empezaste con la ilustración?
Comencé a hacer ilustraciones para complementar las letras del graffiti, pero en 2018 comencé a ilustrar con mucha más frecuencia para estudios de muralismo.

I started doing illustrations to complement graffiti lettering, but in 2018 I started illustrating much more frequently for muralism studios.
6-Cómo definirías tu estilo?
Soy un escritor de graffiti de estilo adeptobdoneild, pero también utilizo otros estilos como el bpiece, el throw-up e incluso el muralismo. Pero mi buque insignia es el wildstyle.

I am an adept graffiti writer, of adeptobdoneild , but I also use other styles such as bpiece, throw-up and even muralism. But my flagship is wildstyle.

Paredes, siempre prefiero las paredes.

Me encanta eso… Realmente satisface mi alma.

I love that… It really satisfies my soul.
10-De dónde viene el nombre Morais?
En realidad, mi Tag es Talu. Sin embargo, Morais es mi apellido, proveniente de mi padre. Decidí hacerlo en honor a él después de su muerte, que este mes cumplió 5 años. Entonces hago Talu y también Morais.
10-Where does the name Morais come from?
Actually, my tag is Talu. However, Morais is my last name, coming from my father. I decided to do it in honor of him after his death, which was 5 years ago this month. So I do Talu and also Morais.
11-Sales frecuentemente de tu ciudad para pintar?
Si mucho, hasta te respondo desde Colombia jajaja. Viajé a 11 estados brasileños y 10 países para pintar.
11-Do you often leave your city to paint?
Yes, a lot, I even answer you from Colombia hahaha. I traveled to 11 Brazilian states and 10 countries to paint.
12-Qué pintura sueles utilizar en tus piezas?
Prefiero el spray, pero también uso mucho el acrílico con rodillos.

13-Te quedas con algún muro en concreto estos últimos años?
No, la arquitectura urbana de países como Brasil no está estandarizada, entonces tengo piezas de diferentes formas para encajar en diferentes áreas.

No, the urban architecture of countries like Brazil is not standardized, so I have pieces of different shapes to fit in different areas.
14-Sueles hacer bocetos antes de crear tu idea en la pared?
Sí, mi proceso creativo hoy es dibujar en papel, escanear para estudiar el color y luego pintar la pared.
14-Do you usually make sketches before creating your idea on the wall?
Yes, my creative process today is to draw on paper, scan to study the color and then paint the wall.
15-Cómo ves el Graffiti Europeo y Barcelona concretamente?
El Graffiti europeo en su conjunto es un referente, lo veo como un nivel a alcanzar. Aún no he tenido el placer de ir a Barcelona pero conozco el trabajo de Musa71 y Apes que nos esperan muy pronto.
15-How do you see European Graffiti and Barcelona specifically?
European graffiti as a whole is a benchmark, I see it as a level to reach. I haven’t had the pleasure of going to Barcelona yet but I know the work of Musa71 and Apes that await us very soon.
