1-Cuando empezaste a pintar?

Descubrí el Graffiti alrededor deL 1999/2000 y después de eso comenzamos el «juego del Tag» con mis compañeros de clase en el colegio.

Fue una época divertida, cada uno de nosotros tenía un nombre nuevo cada semana, pero en ese momento era solo por diversión.

Unos años más tarde, el juego se volvió serio para mí, cuando comencé a pintar regularmente en 2004.

Ya que para mí es más que una adicción , en lugar de solo diversión.

1-When did you start painting?

I discovered graffiti around 1999/2000 and after that we started the «tag game»with my classmates in the school.Its was a funny period,each of us got a new name on every week but it was just for fun at that time.A few years later the game became serious for me when i started regularly painting in 2004.Since than its more like some addiction for me instead of just having fun.

2-De donde viene el nombre de Gospe?

Honestamente, no recuerdo exactamente cómo terminé con este nombre, pero la raíz original era la palabra «Gossip».

Hasta 2013 escribí mi nombre anterior de varias formas, pero en los últimos 9 años pinté solo mi nombre actual «Gospe».

2-Where the name Gosper comes from?

Honestly i dont remember exactly how i ended up at this name but the original root was the word «gossip».Until 2013 i wrote my previous name in various forms but in the last 9 years i painted only my current name «Gospe».

3-Que pintura sueles usar cuando pintas?

La mayor parte del tiempo estoy usando solo latas de Montana España ( Mtn 94 para contornos y detalles, Mtn hardcore y Mtn Mega para relleno y fondos.. ) pero me gusta mucho el spray italiano Kobra y el Montana Black alemán también.

3-What paint do you usually use when you paint?

Most of the time im using only spanish montana cans(Mtn 94 for outlines and details,Mtn hardcore and Mtn Mega for fillin and for backgrounds…) but i really like the italian Kobra spraypaint and the german Montana Black as well.

4-Tienes alguna gama de colores que te guste más, para realizar tus trabajos?

Sé que es una pena para mí, pero me estoy volviendo demasiado cómodo con las tablas de colores de Mtn, así que estoy usando los mismos 15-20 colores para mis piezas.

Tengo muchos colores favoritos… Rojo Madrid, Amarillo Claro, Azul Eléctrico, Verde París, Rosa Amor… prefiero colores efectivos para pintar, no me gustan los colores pastel.

Pero hoy en día me gusta mucho elegir un color (azul, gris, verde, rosa, marrón o lo que sea) y hacer una pieza con 4-5 tonos diferentes de ese color.

4-Do you have a range of colors that you like more, to make your work?

I know its a shame on me but im getting to cozy with the Mtn colorcharts so im using like the same 15-20 colors for my pieces 🙂 I have a lots of favorite colors…madrid red,light yellow,electric blue,paris green, love pink…i prefer effective colors for painting,im not into pastel colors.But nowdays i really like to choose one color (blue, grey, green, pink, brown or anything) and making a piece with 4-5 different shades from that color.

5-Cuanto piensas en Graffiti?

Realmente disfruto el Graffiti después de casi 20 años y estoy feliz de ser parte de él. No estoy en mi período más activo y quizás nunca pinte tantas piezas como cuando tenía 20 años.

Todavía me gusta mucho ir a pintar con mis compañeros de la Crew, amigos cercanos y chicos geniales.

Todavía me encanta ver estilos geniales con personajes y me encantan los Tags elegantes y los Throwups.

Así que el Graffiti es muy importante en mi vida aún después de 2 décadas y todavía me gusta levantar mi nombre con Tags y piezas.

5-How much do you think about Graffiti?

Im really enjoying graffiti after almost 20 years and im happy about for being a part of it.Im not in my most active period and perhaps i will never paint as much pieces as i did when i was 20 years old. Im still really like to go paint with my crewmates, close friends and cool guys.Im still love to see dope styles with characters and im still in love with stylish tags and throwups. So graffiti is very important in my life still after 2 decades and im still like to getting up my name with tags and pieces.

6-Superficies favoritas para pintar?

Principalmente estoy pintando solo paredes (lugares legales, lugares tranquilos, lugares abandonados y algunos lados de las vías), por lo que son mis superficies principales.

6-Favorite surfaces to paint?

Mostly im painting only walls (legal spots, calm places, abandoned spots and a few tracksides) so they are my main surfaces.

7-Ciudades dónde has pintado?

Desafortunadamente , no viajo a menudo por diferentes razones, pero visité algunos países en los últimos años.

He estado muchas veces en Viena y Milán, pinté en Praga, Copenhague, Roma y en diferentes ciudades de Bulgaria e Italia. Debería organizar muchos más viajes al extranjero…

7-Cities where you have painted?

Unfortunately im not travelling often because of different reasons but i visited a few countries in the last years.
I have been to a lots of times in Vienna and Milan,i painted in Prague,Copenhagen,Rome and at different cities in Bulgaria and Italy.I should organise much more trips to abroad…

8-Cómo ves el Graffiti en España?

Desafortunadamente, nunca he estado en España, así que no conozco la escena allí.

Pero como veo, la escena y el movimiento de Barcelona es uno de los más activos e influyentes de Europa en este momento… Los grandes escritores locales y turísticos hacen un buen trabajo en el metro y también en la calle.

8-How do you see Graffiti in Spain?

Unfortunately i’ve never been to Spain so i dont know the scene there. But as i see the scene and movement of Barcelona is one of the most active and most influent one in Europe right now…great local and tourist writers makes a good job at the subway system and on the street level as well.

9-Que o quien te llevó al mundo del Graffiti ?

En primer lugar, la escena de finales de 2000 en Budapest me ayudó a descubrir el fenómeno de la escritura de Graffiti. En ese momento los escritores locales estaban súper activos, todo fue bombardeado en las calles, en los trenes y el metro también fue destrozado totalmente con paneles.

Creo que fue una segunda época dorada del Graffiti en Budapest (y también en Hungría), me inspiró mucho para comenzar este pasatiempo sin fin, compré todas las revistas y vídeos locales, el movimiento estaba increíblemente activo.

Todo esto me llevó al camino del Graffiti.

9-What or who took you to the world of Graffiti?

First and foremost the late 2000’s scene of Budapest was helped me to discover the phenomenon of graffiti writing. At that time the local writers was super active,everything was bombed on the streets,on the trains and the subway was also smashed totally with panels. i think it was a second golden age of graffiti in Budapest(and Hungary too), it was inspired me a lot to start this endless hobby, i bought all of the local magazines and videos,the movement was insainely active.This all together took me to the path of graffiti.

10-Que sientes cuando pintas?

Pintar es como una recuperación para mí. Durante la realización de mi pieza siento libertad y tranquilidad interior.

Además de que es una sesión tediosa, es más interesante lo creativo que puedes ser pieza tras pieza, es como arruinar tus límites una y otra vez.

Todavía me fascina después de 20 años de trabajo.

10-What do you feel when you paint?

Painting its like a recovery for me. During of making my piece i feel freedom and calmness inside. Besides its a tiresome session its more interesting how creative you can be piece after piece.Its like ruin your limits time after time.Still fascinating me after 20 years of work.

11-Cuantos bocetos haces?

Por lo general, no dibujo mucho, depende de mi tiempo libre y mi período mental.

Por supuesto dibujo lo suficiente, es realmente necesario para desarrollar tu estilo y letras y mantener fresco tu punto de vista para tu movimiento local.

11-How many sketches do you make?

Usually im not sketching a lot it depends on my freetime and mentally period. Of course i drawing enough,its really needed to develop your style and letters and keep fresh your point of view for your local movement.

12-Que te da el Graffiti?

El Graffiti me dio muchas cosas importantes en mi vida. La mayoría de mis mejores amigos y compañeros de crew son escritores, gracias a los escritores, estoy conociendo a muchas personas realmente buenas .

También aprendí respeto y «lucha» gracias al Graffiti y creo que te ayuda a encontrar tu «posición» correcta en tu vida personal, trabajo o cualquier cosa. Por supuesto que tiene desventajas además de ventajas, pero es parte del juego.

Tienes que aceptarlo y encontrar el equilibrio entre tu «vida normal» y ser un escritor de Graffiti.

12-What does Graffiti give you?

Graffiti gave me a lots of important things in my life. Most of my best friends are writers or my crewmates and i was getting know a plenty of really good persons because of writing. I also learned respect and «fighting» because of graffiti and i think it helps you to find your right «position»in your personal life,job or anything.Of course it has disadvantages besides advantages but its part of the game.
You need to accept it and find the balance between your «normal life» and being a graffiti writer.
