Pinté mi primer Graffiti hace 3 años. Nunca olvidaré este día. ¡Fue muy especial para mí!
1-When did you start painting?
I painted my first graffiti 3 years ago. Will never forget this day. Was a really special one for me!
2-De donde viene el nombre de Rayka?
Mi nombre es una mezcla de dos de mi nombres favoritos. Incluí también la letra Y, porque me gusta mucho.
2-Where the name Rayka comes from?
My name is a mix of two of my favorite names. I included also the letter Y, because i really like it.
3-Que pintura sueles usar cuando pintas?
Desde que pinto por el mundo, me adapto a lo que encuentro. Tengo la oportunidad de pintar con mucha variedad de aerosoles. Sin embargo, uno de mis favoritos es Montana Hardcore.
3-What paint do you usually use when you paint?
Since I’ve been painting around the world, I adapt to what I find. I have the opportunity to paint with a variety of sprays. However, one of my favorites is Montana Hardcore.
4-Colores favoritos para tus piezas?
Me gustan los colores armoniosos. El rosado, el morado y el turquesa son unos de mis colores favoritos que me gusta combinar. Me gusta cuando hay armonía entre los colores.
4-Favorite colors for your pieces?
I like harmonious colours. Pink, purple and turquoise are some of my favourite colours that I like to combine. I like it when there is harmony between colours.
5-Cuanto piensas en Graffiti?
Cada día, el graffiti tiene ahora una fuerte influencia en mi vida. Y por supuesto todas las veces que veo superficies que me resultan aburridas y necesitan un poco de color.
5-How much do you think about Graffiti?
Every day, graffiti has a strong influence on my life now. And of course all the times I see surfaces that I find boring and need a bit of colour.
6-Superficies favoritas para pintar?
Ahora me encanta pintar superficies que presentan un desafío. Una hermosa pared es genial, pero un tren, un camión o incluso un barco es mas interesante.
6-Favorite surfaces to paint?
Now I love painting surfaces that present a challenge. A beautiful wall is great, but a train, a truck or even a boat is more interesting.
7-Has estado varios meses en México y has podido pintar en varios lugares de allí, has visto mucha diferencia de estilos?
Ahora todos los estilos están fuertemente influenciados por las redes sociales, por lo que no veo una diferencia notable con respecto a Europa.
7- You have been in Mexico for several months and you have been able to paint in various places there, have you seen a lot of difference in styles?
Nowadays all styles are heavily influenced by social media, so I don’t see a noticeable difference compared to Europe.
8-Cómo ves el Graffiti en España?
Pude conocer a grandes artistas españoles. La calidad es alta. ¡Me encantaría pintar algún día en España!
8-How do you see Graffiti in Spain?
I could meet some great artists from Spain. The quality is high. I would love to paint one day in Spain!
9-Has tenido algún escritor de referencia?
Por supuesto, diferentes artistas influyen en mi estilo. En general, estoy muy impresionado por la escena femenina en el graffiti; hay artistas femeninas increíblemente geniales.
9-Have you had any reference writer?
Of course, different artists influence my style. In general, I am very impressed by the female graffiti scene; there are incredibly cool female artists.
10-En qué parte del mundo has pintado?
He podido pintar en muchos lugares. Entre ellos se incluyen Suiza, Austria, Italia, Alemania, Eslovenia, Croacia, Colombia y, por supuesto, México – Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Holbox, CDMX,…

11-Que sientes cuando pintas?
Cuando pinto, me olvido de todo lo que me rodea. Soy uno con mi pieza, los colores, el entorno. Me siento viva y libre.
11-What do you feel when you paint?
When I paint, I forget about everything around me. I am one with my piece, the colors, the environment. I feel alive and free.
12-Cómo definirías tu estilo?
Pregunta difícil, jajaja. Mi estilo es, por un lado, muy testarudo y fuerte, pero, por otro lado, puede ser muy suave y fluido. Me gusta aportar diferentes estados de ánimo a mis letras.
12-How would you define your style?
Tough question, hahaha. My style is, on the one hand, very stubborn and strong, but on the other hand, it can be very soft and fluid. I like to bring different moods to my letters.
13-Que te da el Graffiti?
El graffiti me da libertad, me da confianza en mí mismo y me muestra que podemos hacer cualquier cosa si sólo queremos.
13-What does Graffiti give you?
Graffiti gives me freedom, it gives me self-confidence and shows me that we can do anything if we just want to.
14-Cuando ves una pared blanca, que piensas?
Inmediatamente pienso en una pieza que me gustaría pintar allí. Se desperdicia demasiado espacio vacío, especialmente aquí en Suiza.
14-When you see a white wall, what do you think?
I immediately think of a piece I would like to paint there. Too much empty space is wasted, especially here in Switzerland.
