1-Cuando empezaste a pintar?
Fue alrededor del año 2009, pero sabes que no existe una fecha como «cumpleaños». Los primeros dos o tres años fui realmente inconsistente. Pero ahora puedo decir que llevo 10 años pintando a todo gas.
1-When did you start painting?
It was circa in 2009, but you know there isn’t a date like “birthday”. The first two or three years I was really inconsistent. But Now I can say that I’ve been painting at full throttle for 10 years.
2-De donde viene el nombre de Ysar?
Al principio solía dibujar mi apellido en los deberes del colegio. Lógicamente, cuando hago el paso “papel a pared”, no fue posible escribir mi propio nombre. Así que tomé las letras que prefería de mi apellido y le agregué una letra, la “Y”, que no era tan banal.
2-Where the name Ysar comes from?
In the beginning I used to sketch my surname on my school homework. Logically, when I do the step “paper to wall”, it wasn’t possible to write my own name . So I took the letters I preferred from my surname and I add a letter, the “Y”, that was not so banal.
3-Qué pintura sueles usar cuando pintas?
En los últimos años he estado usando Loop Colors.
3-What paint do you usually use when you paint?
In the lasts years I’ve been using LoopColors spray.
4-Tienes alguna gama de colores que te guste más para realizar tus trabajos?
Me gustan mucho los colores muy saturados. En general me gusta pintar letras con relleno negativo y contornos más brillantes, que me dan permiso para hacer algunas sombras y puntos de luz en el 3D. Si necesito elegir un color, probablemente no faltará en mi almacenamiento algún amarillo.
4-Do you have a range of colors that you like more to make your work?
I like so much colors very saturated. In general I like paint letters with negative fill in and brighter outlines, that give me the permission to do some shadows and light point on the 3D. If I need to choose a color probably some dirty yellow will not miss in my storage.
5-Cuánto piensas en Graffiti?
Muy a menudo. Porque el graffiti cambia tu percepción del lugar. Cuando conduzco siempre miro el lateral, reconocer a algunos otros escritores. Lo mismo en tren o metro. En medio de la ciudad busco tags o pegatinas en el poste. Si estoy en un concierto reviso los zapatos o la marca de las camisetas de la gente.
5-How much do you think about Graffiti?
Really often. Because graffiti change your perception of place. When I drive I always check the sideline .. to recognize some other writers. Same stuff by train or metro. In the middle of the city I look for some tag or stickers on the pole. If I’m at a concert I check people’s shoes or T-shirt brand.
6-Superficies favoritas para pintar?
Muros.

Walls.
7-Ciudades dónde has pintado?
Berlin, Rome, Lublin, Budapest, Sardinia, Milano, Zurich, Lörrach, Basel, Vancouver … Y probablemente alguna otra ..

8-Cómo ves el Graffiti en España?
En mi opinión, España siempre es un escenario de “seguir en movimiento”. Veo que mucha gente puede vivir haciendo graffitis como trabajo, algo que actualmente es imposible (o muy difícil) en Suiza. Veo a muchos buenos escritores aparecer en escena cada año.
8-How do you see Graffiti in Spain?
Spain is always a “keep on moving” scene in my opinion. I see that a lot of people are able to live making graffiti for job, that is impossible in Switzerland at the moment (or very difficult). I see a lot of good writer jump into the scene every year.
9-Qué o quién te llevó al mundo del Graffiti ?
Cuando yo era niño, Siempre me ha gustado comprobar que la ventana del tren tiene los colores del graffiti. No lo sabía pero estaba entrando en el mundo del graffiti. Seguro que, como a todo el mundo, creo. Un amigo me abre las puertas del mundo del graffiti.
9-What or who took you to the world of Graffiti?
When I was a child I always love check thought of the windonw’s train the colors of graffiti. I didn’t know but I was entering in the graffiti world. For sure, like everyone I think, a friend open me the door of graffiti world.
10-Cómo fue la grabación para spraydaily en el Friendly Battle con Deko?
¡¡Muy divertido!! Deko y yo somos buenos amigos desde el 2016, pintamos a menudo juntos porque vivimos en la misma ciudad y estamos en la misma Crew (BadT Crew) y el videógrafo (MproductionB) que edita el video es mi colega durante mis turnos en el hospital cada día. Así que tenemos la costumbre de pintar buenas paredes juntos, ¡pero esta vez el objetivo era subir el nivel un poco más! Entonces, con la asociación de Spraydaily y LoopColors intentamos pintar letras grandes y limpias en una pared enorme y limpia. El primer día pinté el fondo para el día siguiente.
El domingo decidimos pintar los estilos un poco torcidos en la pared y esto es técnicamente más difícil. Al final del día terminamos todo, rotulación, fondo y grabación de vídeo. Entusiasmados y satisfechos.

10-How was the recording for spraydaily in the Friendly Battle with Deko?
Really funny!! Deko and me are good friends since 2016, we paint often togheter because we live in the same city and we are in the same crew (BadT Crew) and the videomaker (MproductionB) that edit the video is my collegue during my shifts in the hospital everyday. So we are in habit to paint good wall togheter, but this time the goal was to put the level a little bit higher! So with the partnership of Spraydaily and LoopColors we try to paint a clean and big lettering in a hughe and clean wall. The first day I painted the background for the next day. On Sunday we decided to paint the styles a little bit crooked on the wall and this is a technically more difficult. At the end of the day we finished everything, lettering, background and taking video.Enthusiastic and satisfied.

11-Qué sientes cuando pintas?
Para mí es todo lo contrario… pintar es la manera de no sentir nada. No quedarme enojado, no pensar demasiado… Durante el año noté que no importa cómo era mi estado de ánimo antes de pintar, al final siempre estoy feliz y este es el único sentimiento importante.
11-What do you feel when you paint?
It’s the opposite for me… paint is the way to don’t feel nothing. To don’t stay Angry, to don’t overthinking.. In the year I noted that dosen’t matter how was my mood before paint at the end I’m always happy and this is the only important feeling.
12-Cuantos bocetos haces?
Funciona en punto. En algún momento dibujo 10 bocetos seguidos. En otra época pinto solo 3 primeras líneas solo para cambiar la forma de mis letras. Otra podría ser que ya no hago bocetos. Siento que dibujar está subordinado a lo que queremos alcanzar.
12-How many sketches do you make?
It works in period. Some period I draw 10 skatech in a row. Another period I paint only 3 firstliner just for change the shape of my letters. Another one could be that I don’t do sketche anymore. I feel sketching is subordinated of what we want to reach.
13-Qué te da el Graffiti?
Mentalidad. Amigos.Recuerdos.Emociones.
